Our SafeTCap® ART-172 Spare Tire Mount Plate is an OEM spec weld-in replacement for mounting the spare tire hoist mechanism for the C-Chanel cross member ONLY.
There are two different cross members that have been used by the manufacturer The ART-172 will NOT work on the Tubular cross member.
This part is made from high-quality domestic 11ga steel and has an m10-1.5 x 40 hex cap screw with m10 weld nut for securing the hoisting mechanism.
The ART-172 DOES NOT come with a new hoisting mechanism.
