Being recognized as a Safe T Cap® Dealer Installer does not mean that Safe T Cap® owns, operates, controls, or assumes responsibility for the dealer installer or its business, employees, workmanship, services, or actions.
Dealer Installer Responsibility
Dealer Installers are solely responsible for the work they perform, including but not limited to:
- Installation and workmanship
- Welding and fabrication
- Vehicle preparation
- Installation methods and procedures
- Labor and labor charges
- Modifications made during installation
- Recommendations made to the customer
- Any damage or issues resulting from their installation or workmanship
Any concerns regarding an installation, workmanship, labor, or services provided by a Dealer Installer should be addressed directly with the independent shop that performed the work.
Safe T Cap® Product Responsibility
Safe T Cap® is responsible for the Safe T Cap® parts and products that we manufacture and sell, subject to our applicable product warranty and terms.
Safe T Cap®’s responsibility is for the parts themselves and does not extend to the labor, installation, workmanship, or actions of an independent shop.
If a customer purchases parts directly from Safe T Cap®, Safe T Cap® is responsible for the parts purchased, subject to applicable warranty terms.
If a customer purchases parts through a Dealer Installer, the transaction may be between the customer and that independent Dealer Installer. Any issues concerning the shop’s labor, installation, or services remain the responsibility of the independent shop.
Dealer Installer Process
Safe T Cap® Dealer Installers are businesses that have voluntarily gone through a Dealer Installer process established by Safe T Cap®. This process is intended to help identify shops that are familiar with Safe T Cap® products and their intended applications.
Completion of the Dealer Installer process does not create an employment, agency, partnership, franchise, or affiliate relationship between Safe T Cap® and the independent shop.
Shops that purchase or sell Safe T Cap® products but have not completed the Safe T Cap® Dealer Installer process should not represent themselves as a Safe T Cap® Dealer Installer.

Every Safe T Cap® product is supplied with applicable installation instructions. Product information, photos, and fitment information are also available through our website.
Customers and installers are encouraged to review the applicable instructions and product information before installation to verify the correct part, application, and intended installation.
