Description

Our TAC-180U is a complete set of rear frames, rear leaf spring shackle mounts, and inner frame shackle supports, to repair the tail end of the Tacoma’s frame from the rear bed mount to the rear end of the frame. The frame repair sections(TAC-155-2) were designed to cap over the existing frame after removing the original leaf spring shackle mount. The rear bumper and mounting brackets will need to be removed before installing these frame kits.  We’ve added slots for the rear bumper bolts for ease of installation.

Our rear shackle mount (TAC-164) was designed as an OEM spec replacement to be welded on to the new frame sections.  Included with the shackle mount, is an inner frame support, which fits inside the frame and should be welded in right over the original frame support. This kit was designed to be installed with the bed left on.

The TAC-164 rear shackle mount does not come with new shackle mount bushings. You can purchase new rear shackle mount bushings at your local auto parts store or online.

Fits both the driver & passenger sides on all 1996-2004 Tacoma cab models, 2WD, 4WD, including Prerunner.

The TAC-155-2 measures 18″ in length, and are precision CNC cut and bent using high quality domestic, 11 gage cold rolled steel.
