Our ART-220 SafeTCap® frame repair kit is designed to repair the 1996-2002 3^rd Gen Toyota 4-Runner.

Our ART-220 SafeTCap ® frame repair kit caps the frame area right over the rear axle.  This frame repair kit starts at the rear fuel tank and upper trailing arm cross member tube and is 24.5” inches long ending at the rear track bar cross member. This part comes with the upper rear bump stop mount, and sway bar mounts attached and welded to the frame section for both Driver and passenger sides. The driver side ART-220 also has the rear fuel tank strap bracket attached. This part does not come with new bump stops, sway bar links, or fuel tank straps. You must reuse your original bump stops.

This frame repair section was designed to cap the frame from underneath the vehicle without having to remove the upper coil spring plates from the frame. To install this part you will need to remove the original bump stop mount, and sway bar mounts from the frame.

All SafeTCap® frame repair kits are made from American 11 gage steel, and are CNC cut, assembled and welded by our AWS Certified Welders. SafeTCap® Frame repair kits are designed to be welded to the upper part of the frame once the repair area has been ground down to bare metal
