Mid Frame Section (TAC-232D-R) Passenger Side

Description

Our SafeTCap® TAC-232D was designed to fit the 2nd Gen Tacoma Double Cab Mid-rear frame section, standard bed, where the forward end of the rear leaf spring mounts to the frame. This part begins 14.5″ before the rear cab mount and ends 12″ after the rear cab mount. The leaf spring mount will need to be removed from the frame by cutting the rivet heads off and drilling them out. Once removed the frame repair section can be installed and your leaf spring mount can be re-attached either with nut and bolts or by welding it back on. The TAC-232D has 3 cut lines in the area of the rear cab mount, giving you the option to notch the frame kit around the rear cab mount if the metal behind it is good.

The TAC-232D is made from only American made 11ga steel which meets or exceeds the steel used by the factory.

This part does not come with the rear spring mount.

Designed to cap over the original frame and weld onto the upper, and lower inner edge, plus forward and rear seems.

This part fits the Passenger Side.
