Sandblasting Services
We are equipped with a high volume sandblasting bay. We can sandblast clean almost any steel products you have. We use black beauty in our machine. It’s very well suited for under car rust removal. It’s not recommended for exterior panels. It can warp body panels with the amount of heat created.
Our sandblasting service carries a higher shop labor rate then our rust repairs, due to the expense of materials and equipment. Inquire here for current labor rates.
Undercoating and Rustproofing Services
We are equipped to provide superior rustproofing and undercoating services for today’s new vehicles.
Even though manufacturers say their new cars and light trucks don’t require undercoating, here in New England we disagree. After more than thirty years in this business, we feel any car or light truck that lives in this salty environment will benefit from our services.
After careful masking of the exhaust and body panels, we apply our undercoating to every road-facing surface. Then we apply our undercoating to every area that has exposure to salt and other road deicing systems.
After that we apply our rustproofing formula to all the hidden areas on the vehicle. This includes inner rockers, lower inside of doors, lower fenders and internal areas of front and rear bumpers.
If your car or light truck has been on the road for over three months, we need to sandblast the underside completely before we can perform our undercoating services. This service removes all surface rust that has formed and will provide the undercoating a surface to properly adhere to.
After sandblast cleaning, we perform the same services as described above.
