Rear Shackle U-Plate

The rear shackle U-Plate secures the leaf shackle to the rear end housing. A rubber insulator pad that Chrysler used between the leaf shackle and the U-Plates holds moisture in that area and can cause a dangerous rust-out problem that can allow the rear end to drop down with the chance of total loss of vehicle control.
