We now have a functioning online shopping cart. You can place orders with us without ever picking up a phone - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere you have internet access. You don't need a PayPal account, just an email address. Currently available in continental US only.

Security

We know shopping online can seem risky to people unfamiliar with ecommerce. Our website is not secure and we do not take credit card numbers through it. The only information that our site handles is the type and price of the product you would like to order. PayPal handles all the sensitive information on their secure server. The address of the shopping cart page indicates that it is on a secure server: "https" refers to the secure communication protocol. We encourage you to check their credentials on their site for your peace of mind.

Set Discounts

We offer a $10 discount most times you order a set of parts — that is, the left and right versions of the torsion mount, for example. If you wish to take advantage of that discount, you must select the "set" when you add it to your cart. If you order an ART-3R and an ART-3L, the discount will not take effect. You must add the ART-3S, which includes the ART-3R and ART-3L, instead. If you order the parts as separate items, you forfeit the discount. This also applies to performance paks and other assemblies of items.

How it works

On each of the catalog's product pages, there is a row of buttons at the bottom of the page. To add an item to your shopping cart, click the button that indicates which product you want. If the button reads "Left", clicking the button will add the left version of the part you are viewing to your cart. You can always remove an item later if you change your mind. When you click the button, a PayPal shopping cart will pop up in a new window. You can close this window and continue shopping, but we recommend you leave it open as you return to the product page. The button that says "View Cart / Checkout" will open your shopping cart without adding anything to it. You may check out at any time from within the shopping cart window.

Checkout

When you are done gathering the items you wish to purchase, click "Check out" and follow the instructions that follow. You must have an email address. If you don't have one, you can get a free one here. You do not have to set up a PayPal account to make a payment, although you may choose to. The PayPal page where you enter your payment information is 100% secure and certified. We encourage you to check their credentials on their site. We will recieve your payment and order via email.

Confirmation

PayPal will send you an email confirming your order. This confirmation indicates that your payment has been processed and we have recieved your order. We usually ship within days, but during busy periods it may take as long as four weeks before you recieve your order. If there is a problem or an expected delay, we will send you an additional email outlining when you can expect to recieve your order. Typically, PayPal's confirmation email is all you should expect.

Telephone

PayPal will ask you for your phone number during the checkout process. We will not share your phone number with anybody under any circumstances (except as required by law), and it will only be used to address the order with which it is associated.

When We Need More Information

If we have a question or concern regarding your order, we will place your order on hold and email you. If we do not recieve a prompt response, we will telephone you. If we are unable to complete your order without additional information, we will refund your purchase price (less applicable fees) and cancel your order no sooner than two weeks after our first attempt at communication. If it is possible, we will attempt to fill the order using available information. In the event that you cannot be contacted to answer our questions, we are not responsible for errors due to missing information. Any replacement process in this type of situation will be at your expense.

Privacy

Auto Rust Technicians will never provide any information about you to any third party unless mandated by law or with your explicit permission. We will not use your information for any purpose other than fulfilling your order.

International

Because of the added shipping expense and additional information required, we are unable to process Canadian PayPal orders through our site. We continue to accept payment via PayPal for Canadian orders, but you must call or email us to place such an order. Orders outside of the US and Canada cannot be processed through PayPal, but can be processed via telephone or mail. If we recieve an unexpected PayPal order from outside of the US, it will be refunded.

Shipping & Handling

We cannot ship to PO Boxes. Please do not give a PO Box as a delivery address.

Because of their streamlined system, PayPal is unable to calculate our exact shipping & handling rates. Right now it supports a tier system where you pay a flat rate for shipping & handling based on the dollar value of your order. The shipping charge will be added to your order as you check out. Some items have special shipping costs associated with them. This will be indicated on the item's product page. These rates are not the same rates used for telephone orders.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are redeemable only via PayPal. Recipient must have or create a PayPal account in order to use gift certificates. They can be cancelled within 60 days of purchase date. Refunds are PayPal's responsibility. Gift Certificates do not expire. There is no maintenance fee for a gift certificate. We reserve the right to refuse orders from unconfirmed users. Gift certificates may not be redeemed for cash or used to purchase other gift certificates. Neither we nor PayPal are responsible for lost, stolen, or misused gift certificates. Available in US and Canada only. If a gift certificate does not cover the entire purchase when it is redeemed, the gift certificate recipient is responsible for the rest of the balance. If a gift certificate exceeds the value of the purchase when it is redeemed, the gift certificate retains the difference in its balance.
